  • DCA/QRA Tactical Training - TSC Pardubice, CZE

    The second MATC Tactical Training for tactical pilots and GCIs, supported by JAPCC, has been executed in the Tactical Simulation Center (TSC) Pardubice, Czech Republic in the week 20-24 NOV 2017. The Training audience was composed of Jas-39 GRIPEN, Mig-29 FULCRUM and Mig-21 FISHBED pilots and CRC GCIs. The one of the main focus was to train the „Regional Interoperability“ adhering the NATO standards.

    The second DCA/QRA (Defensive Counter Air/Quick Reaction Alert) SyntheticTraining for tactical pilots and GCI (Ground Radar Controller of Interceptors) has been accomplished in the term 20 - 24 NOV 2017 at Tactical Simulation Center (TSC), Pardubice, Czech Republic (LOM PRAHA s.p./CLV Pardubice). The training week as the TRG Module with code FTS 06, published in MATC TRG Catalogue, was focused on QRA/AP (Air Policing) procedures training and DCA - BvR (Behind Visual Range) training.

    Signing of a functional Memorandum of Understanding

    The establishment of a working relationship between NATO and the Multinational Aviation Training Centre was made official on 29 September with the signing of a functional Memorandum of Understanding at Headquarters Supreme Allied Commander Transformation in Norfolk, Virginia, USA.

The 5th MATC Training Conference was held from Tuesday September 13th until Friday September 16th, 2016, at the MATC Directorate at Vyškov. The Conference attendees discussed mainly the MATC Training Projects for Aviation Air and Ground Crews training for the second half of year 2016, and for year 2017. On Friday, the Conference moved to Ostrava Mošnov for Site Survey at MATC Facility LOM PRAHA a.s. / HTP Ostrava CZ, which provides the simulated training for Air Crews including the Door Gunnery Training (in the test mode) within the brand new facility. The Participants from Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary and Slovakia had the opportunity to visit the Rehearsal of “NATO DAYS” Displays demonstrating the NATO capabilities.
